My first attempts at mixed media. I think vinyl is beautiful - how it catches the light and gives texture and motion. Part of my process is to put the records in the freezer for a few hours and then smash them up in a cloth bag. I use some of the shapes that organically appear & some I shape myself. My fingers get calloused from gripping tools so tightly when trying to get an edge precise. Totally worth it when the image comes to life!
